Look who's talking.

I'm using fiddler  allot and it's really useful for debugging what’s happening with my http requests.

But there is somebody that is talking a bit to much... Microsoft Windows Live Messenger .

It generates traffic all the time. Can it really be necessary? 

I really would like to cut down on the trafic generated by MSN, is there a possibility to reduce how often MSN checks for status updates?

And perhaps the real question is why it chats over HTTP? Shouldn’t the traffic go over HTTPS and be secured?

All e-mail addresses, chats, status updates, profile info is sent in free text over internet. 

Is there a possibility to get MSN to chat over HTTPS?
